Prior to joining the Sustainable Packaging Coalition as a Education & Data Manager, Jennifer worked for the NSF Center for Sustainable Polymers where she led the education and outreach efforts and developed a sustainable materials curriculum set for youth in grades K-12. Jennifer received her B.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Minnesota and her Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri. From one of her first jobs as an aquarium educator to a college instructor, environmental education has been one of Jennifer’s core passions. When she’s not trying to save the world, you can find Jennifer spending time with her family, perfecting a new recipe, or planning her next travel itinerary.

What is your why?

Sustainability is a complex puzzle with no one perfect solution. I’m interested in playing a part in creating positive change that will impact global climate and culture for future generations.
