The Opportunity

GreenBlue’s Marketing and Communications team is seeking a Digital Content Creator to join their team. This position will work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Communications team, the GreenBlue team at large and a variety of external stakeholders developing and implementing GreenBlue’s Marketing Strategy, Project Activities and Events. This is a remote position based in the Continental US. Please read through the end before applying.

The Digital Marketing Content Creator will:

  • Be the Social Media Lead and Content Creator for all of our programs and events, managing all of our social media channels and creating content on the industries and topics we work in: Packaging, Recovery, Recycling, Climate, Composting, Recycled Content, Paper, Plastics and more
  • Develop original content ideas that resonate with target audiences and align with platform algorithms
  • Produce a variety of content types, including videos, blog posts, graphics, webinars and podcasts
  • Play an active role in the graphic design on project resources such as reports, newsletters, guidance documents, brochures, working closely with Sr Manager (Creative Lead)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and platform updates to optimize content reach and engagement
  • Track the performance of our content
  • Co-lead Partnerships Development, Fulfillment, Renewal, as well as garner related metrics
  • Support our project managers with copywriting and editing to translate complex information into accessible content pieces
  • Support GreenBlue team with events participation (external and SPC events) as partner liaison and prepare and assist with slide decks design and organization, social media posts.
  • Take an active onsite role as part of the Marketing Communications and Events team at GreenBlue events as it relates to content creation, marketing collateral production and partner engagement.
  • Support the Marketing Communications team as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design and minimum 6 years related work experience or an equivalent combination, including at least 4 years’ experience at a similar role.
  • Recent experience in a role within the Packaging Industry.
  • Experience developing communications, media and engagement strategies and measuring results. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent graphic design skills and proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, email marketing systems and social media channels.
  • Knowledge of Clickup is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce, including Pardot a plus.
  • Experience with website management, especially with WordPress.
  • Experience cultivating, negotiating and managing relationships with partners, media partners and vendors.
  • Experience in preparing digital and printed collateral materials.
  • Experience fostering an environment of creativity and professional growth.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and designing, collaborating and implementing multiple projects.

Starting Salary

$62,500
