The Opportunity
GreenBlue’s Marketing and Communications team is seeking a Design Associate to join their team. This position will report to the Sr. Manager Marketing Communications, while working on a variety of projects under the GreenBlue umbrella in developing and implementing GreenBlue’s marketing strategy and messaging across a variety of visual mediums. This is a remote position based in the Continental US. Please read through the end before applying.
The Design Associate will:
- Follow brand guidelines on all design projects, working closely with Sr Manager (Creative Lead)
- Play an active role in the graphic design of project resources such as reports, newsletters, guidance documents, brochures, and events deliverables, working closely with Sr Manager (Creative Lead)
- Design email marketing campaigns (eblasts, targeted marketing communications) in our digital marketing tool (SF’s Pardot) and become a metrics wizard to track engagements with our audiences
- Work with marketing team on graphics, imagery support for our social media channels
- Support GreenBlue staff in slide deck design, presentations
- Familiarity with creating, manipulating templates in Google Suite, Microsoft (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Research potential events vendors for printing, photography in host city
- Take on updates, design assistance on project websites using WordPress
- Support or lead signage placement for on-site events
- Take an active on-site role as part of the marketing team at events, supporting Sr Manager, MarComms team with needed assets for social posts (light photography)
- Support the Marketing Communications team as needed

What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design and minimum 2-3 years related work experience or an equivalent combination.
- Excellent graphic design skills, excels in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) experience with After Effects, Premier a plus.
- Experience with Canva, email marketing systems and social media channels.
- Experience developing communications, media and engagement strategies and measuring results.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Recent experience working with a non-profit organization a plus
- Working knowledge of Clickup is a plus.
- Proficiency with SalesForce, including Pardot a plus.
- Experience with website management, especially with WordPress.
- Experience cultivating, negotiating and managing relationships with partners, media partners and vendors.
- Experience in preparing digital and printed collateral materials.
- Experience fostering an environment of creativity and professional growth.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and designing, collaborating and implementing multiple projects.

Starting Salary
$57,500
