Evan Bruner

Project Associate, Sustainable Packaging Coalition

Evan joined the GreenBlue team in April 2016 as a Project Associate for The Sustainable Packaging Coalition. In his role, Evan works on paper packaging-related topics, from fiber sourcing to clean production and designing for recyclability. On his way to becoming a subject matter expert on all things paper related, some of the primary projects he works on are the Environmental Paper Assessment Tool (EPAT), a paper packaging workshop for industry professionals, and developing guidance on paper packaging recyclability.
Prior to joining GreenBlue, Evan worked on issues ranging from energy and natural resources, to ocean conservation and sustainable seafood. He holds a Master’s of Science at Utrecht University in Sustainable Development specializing in Environmental Governance. Evan is originally from the Pacific Northwest, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Environmental Studies at The Evergreen State College.
